RCIA Program

St. Rosalia offers the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This course educates adults in the Catholic Faith. It is a spiritual journey of faith with the Lord. The RCIA class offers spiritual guidance for anyone interested in becoming a Roman Catholic. This process is not only one that teaches about the Catholic faith, but takes the candidates on a journey to receiving the holy sacrament of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist.

This journey of faith begins in September and ends a few weeks following the Easter Vigil Mass. Those interested in becoming Roman Catholics meet with the Parish Family Support Team on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 in the school library. A different aspect, belief and topic of the Roman Catholic Church is explained and discussed each week.

For more information call the Parish Center-Rectory at 412-421-5766.

CCD

The Parish takes great pride in its CCD program because it is a wonderful opportunity for children to know more about God. This program is geared towards increasing knowledge about God and the Church, preparing for the reception of the sacraments, and guiding the individuals toward a happy Christian life. St. Rosalia Church is committed to bringing a message of faith to all in its parish community.

Our CCD religious education program includes grades one through eight. If the situation arises, special education needs can be accommodated. Classes are held from September to May on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:45 pm.
